　　这属于一种隐性考法，用虚拟语气表达一种抱怨、后悔等情绪，主要体现虚拟语气的关键词有：if, if only, I only wish..., couldn’t have done something...without...等。

　　W: Yes, certainly, but if only you had sent in your application letter a week earlier.
