　　astr-表示“星星”

　　astronaut n.宇航员

　　[记]整天去星星(astro-)上闹腾(nau-t)的人，就是宇航员(astronaut)。

　　disaster n.灾难;大失败

　　[记]dis-分开;ast-星星;-er名词。星星裂开了，多大的灾难(dis-ast-er)啊!

　　[另]陨石降落，往底(di-)下砸死他(sa-s-ter)，造成了灾难(di-sas-ter)。

　　[例]Mass media are inclined to cover disasters and deaths.大从媒体总是掩盖灾难和死亡的新闻。

　　sun n.太阳;阳光

　　[记]这个词你都不认识，我就……好吧，我还是积点口德。要注意单独说“太阳”的时候要说the sun，因为太阳是独一无二的，要用定冠词。

　　sunshine n. 阳光

　　Sunday n. 星期日

　　sunny a.晴朗的

　　Solar a.太阳的(太阳光一照，食物就“馊了”。太阳系：solar system。)

　　[例]The earth is orbiting the sun, so we sometimes say that the earth is the son of the sun.地球绕着太阳转，所以我们有时候也说地球是太阳之子。

　　isolate v.使隔绝;使孤单

　　[记]如果你是大龄剩男剩女，肯定经常抱怨：爱(i)来得太晚(so late)!偶好孤单(isolated)!

　　[变]isolation n.隔绝;孤单

　　[例]Without the Internet, we would be isolated from the exterior spectacular world.若没有互联网，我们将被隔绝于外面的花花世界。

　　moon n.月亮(要+the);卫星

　　[变]month n.月

　　monthly a.每月的

　　Monday n.星期一(日语叫做月曜日)

　　[例]There are many craters(坑洞)in the lunar surface.月球表面有很多坑洞。

　　mercury n.水银;水星

　　[记]如果你吃了水银(mercury)，你就莫(mer)想再治好了(cur-y)了。(水银就是汞，有剧毒。)

　　[搭]The Mercury 水星

　　satellite n.卫星;人造卫星;卫星城市

　　[记]音似“赛他莱特(sa-te-lli-te)”。莱特兄弟发明了飞机，很牛;而我若发明了satellite，肯定就赛他莱特了～为什么会有两个L?因为莱特是一对兄弟。

　　[例]Today’s vessels can lind their prey using satellites and sonar.今天的船舰可以用卫星和声呐来找到猎物。
