　　B: Didn't you sleep well last night?

　　B:你昨晚没睡好?

　　A:I was too excited to sleep last night.

　　B:Oh, Susie. Didn't I tell you over and over again that you wouldn't be able to climb the mountain unless you got enough sleep?

　　B:哦，苏西。我是不是再三地告诉过你了，除非你睡眠充足，否则是不能爬山的?

　　A:You did. but I can't help it.

　　A:你说过，可是我没办法啊。

　　B:This is a one-day trip. We'll have to keep going and try to reach the top by noon or give up right now and go home.

　　A:I don't want to give up.

　　A:我不想放弃。

　　B:Can you go on now?

　　A:Don't push me. What I need is to rest for a while.

　　B:I'm experienced, Susie. We won't be able to reach the top if you keep asking for a break every ten minutes.

　　A:It won't be long. It's only temporary.

　　A:不会太久的。这只是暂时性的。

　　B:It will last the whole journey. Take my word for it.

　　A:This is the first time I've ever climbed a mountain in my life. Don't be so hard on me.

　　B:Sorry, Susie. . . Well, we'll keep going for a while and see how you can take it. If you do feel ill, we'll go home. We can always go climbing mountains any time you like.
