英语单词几乎是天天必背的，但一定要有计划性，有的人常常用整段的时间如整个上午来背单词，有时候又一天都不翻一下单词书，这是不可取的。2016考研的同学最好制定一个计划，多少天背完一遍，每天背多少个，每天什么时候背，规划地清清楚楚，效率也会高很多。

　　★ invisible

　　a.看不见的，无形的

　　【例】Selling insurance overseas is Britain’s largest invisible export.向国外出售的保险是英国最大的无形输出品。

　　【构词】in-（表否定）+visible（看得见的）→看不见的

　　【同义替换】imperceptible, indiscernible, indistinguishable

　　【派生】invisibility n.不可见  invisibly ad.不可见地

　　★ profound

　　a.深刻的，意义深远的；渊博的，造诣深的

　　【例1】Profound and anxious consultations had taken place at Washington.在华盛顿进行了深入而又令人焦灼不安的商谈。

　　【例2】The profound erudition of the writer came from long years of study.这位作家渊博的学问来自长年累月的钻研。

　　【构词】pro-（向前）+found（基础）→向下深入基础部分→深远的，深入的

　　【同义替换】abstruse, deep

　　【派生】profoundly ad.深深地，极度地  profundity n.深度，深处

　　★ mood

　　n.心情，情绪；语气

　　【例1】He’s in no mood for (telling) jokes/to tell jokes.他没心情说笑话。

　　【例2】the subjunctive mood虚拟语气

　　【同义替换】temper, disposition

　　【派生】moody a.心情多变的，喜怒无常的

　　【真题】Even though the day-to-day experience of raising kids can be soul-crushingly hard, Senior write that “the very things that in the moment dampen our moods can later be sources of intense gratification and delight.”尽管抚养孩子的日子漫长难熬，令人筋疲力尽，但是Senior认为，正是那些心绪沉重的时刻，日后却成为我们欢乐的源泉。

　　a.侵略的，好斗的；有进取心的

　　【例1】The most aggressive apes of all were the bonobos.所有猿类中最具攻击性的是矮黑猩猩。

　　【例2】A salesman must be aggressive if he wants to succeed.要想成为一个成功的推销员就必须有进取心。

　　【构词】ag-（加强）+gress（行走）+-ive（……的）→走过界了→侵略的

　　【同义替换】invasive, incursive; enterprising

　　【派生】aggression n.侵略；进取心  aggressively ad.侵略地；有进取心地

　　【真题1】Now it is a social policy: the most important and aggressive promoter of gambling in America is the government.在美国，现在赌博却成为一种社会政策：最主要、最有力的赌博推动者是政府。

　　【真题2】Physicians—frustrated by their inability to cure the disease and fearing loss of hope in the patient—too often offer aggressive treatment far beyond what is scientifically justified.由于不能治愈癌症又害怕病人对生活失去希望，医生常常大胆用药，乃至超出科学的合理范围。
