英语单词几乎是天天必背的，但一定要有计划性，有的人常常用整段的时间如整个上午来背单词，有时候又一天都不翻一下单词书，这是不可取的。2016考研的同学最好制定一个计划，多少天背完一遍，每天背多少个，每天什么时候背，规划地清清楚楚，效率也会高很多。

　　v.更新；修复

　　【例】The school master has accepted my proposal to renovate the old schoolhouses.校长已经接受了我关于修缮那些破旧校舍的提议。

　　【构词】re-（重新）+nov（新的）+-ate（使……）→使变新→更新，修复

　　【同义替换】renew, update; repair, restore

　　【派生】renovation n.更新；修复

　　★ abound

　　vi.大量存在；(in, with)充满，富于

　　【例1】Opportunities for employment abound in this boomtown.这个新兴的城市就业机会很多。

　　【例2】The lake abounds with a great deal of fish.湖里都是鱼。

　　【构词】a-（无）+bound（边界）→没有边界→到处都是→大量存在

　　【派生】abundant a.大量的，丰富的  abundance n.大量，丰富

　　【真题1】As the economy picks up, opportunities will abound for aspiring leaders.随着经济的复苏和好转，对有理想的头儿们，机会是很多的。

　　【真题2】Opportunities for misinterpretation, error, and self-deception abound.这里充满着误读、错误和自我欺骗的可能性。
